Description

This is a 40 question movie guide to the 2005 hit, Cinderella Man. It stars Renee Zellweger and Russell Crowe. This is a fantastic movie to show students when teaching the Great Depression. It is based on a true story of a boxer who was at the top of his fame, physically and financially, then lost everything with the Stock Market Crash. The movie shows his struggle to work and survive during the Great Depression. This movie is great because it discusses the New Deal, FDR, Hoovervilles, Bread/soup lines, how families struggled and couldn't pay the bills. It is very powerful for students to watch. The questions go along with the movie to ensure that students pay attention throughout. This could be used for middle school or high school. Comes in pdf and google doc form. Answer key is included.

No prep for teachers. Just print the pdf and go. Or upload the copy of the google doc to your digital classroom. Answer key included.

I have a variety of other movie guides in my store if you are interested :)
