Description
I designed this project to use a major grade instead of a test. This experience was prepared for a middle school math class. It lets the students create their own circle graphs by hand. This exercise ties together percent calculations, circle activities and graphing. Students will survey their classmates regarding what month they were born in. You can choose to have them use any other piece of data if you choose.
The students will:
• calculate percentages from the collected data.
• calculate the number of degrees each percentage will be.
• create their pie graphs using their calculations
