Description

This is a project for the final week of a Unit on Circles and Regular Polygons I created for my Sophomore Accelerated Integrated Math class. This project was intended to be very open ended so that students could truly create a unique end product that they could call their own (this also helps prevent copying!). Adding to this sense of ownership is the fact that once complete, students will be sharing their end products with each other.

Essentially, students will be creating their own quiz on circles and polygons based on given guidelines, to give to other students in their class. Once their peers' have taken the quiz, they will be responsible for grading the quiz they created (hence the name "teachers week off"). I designed this project to span roughly 3 days (depends on your class), with the third day being the actual "quiz."

I have provided the student handout, which outlines directions for students and guidelines that they must follow while creating their quiz, as well as a grading rubric. Additionally, I have provided an example quiz/answer key to show to students when first introducing the project.
