Description

Give your students engaging practice with the circuit format! This circuit contains 18 problems which require only differentiation to solve. All functions are included from polynomial to rational, square root, log, exponential and trig. There are also two questions from graphs and one question from a table. For the last question, students must work backwards from a linear acceleration equation.

There is no answer key included because the answers are imbedded in the circuit (it is how students move from one problem to the next -- the problems are progressive in nature). The only prep the teacher needs to do is work the circuit ahead of the students to see what kind of guided notes/examples should be given before setting the students free on the circuit.

This topic can be a challenge at first, but this is lovely, user-friendly practice that doesn't feel overwhelming to students. They stay engaged the whole time, as usual, and the circuit provided a range of type and difficulty of problems. Thank you!

After not teaching Calculus for a few years I was tasked with teaching it online the year our students had the option of learning face-to-face or online. The circuit worksheets are FANTASTIC either way! The self checking aspect is wonderful for students to grow their confidence, as they can find their answers as they progress through the assignment. And if they can't find their answer somewhere, well that let's them know they made a mistake! :-) Love your products! Thank you so much for the great resource.
