This virtual lab relies on an outside tool (AutoDraw) that may not be available in the future. No answer key is provided with this lab. The print version has a different link (to the AC simulation instead of the DC simulation) than the google doc version. The lab uses terms that don't appear in the simulation and will confuse students, e.g. "open the grab bag" (there is nothing on the sim that looks like a "grab bag"). Also the standard (HS-PS1-6) seems to be completely incorrect to this material. Students spent a lot of time asking me about how parts of the lab were written instead of working on the material. I do not recommend.

This is a good resource to make use of the PhET simulation. This covers DC circuits well and is a great worksheet to accompany those concepts. I was hoping for a little more over AC circuits, so I couldn't use this to the extent I needed, but it is still a good resource. This would be good for distance learning or a sub.

NGSSHS-PS1-6
Refine the design of a chemical system by specifying a change in conditions that would produce increased amounts of products at equilibrium. Emphasis is on the application of Le Chatelier's Principle and on refining designs of chemical reaction systems, including descriptions of the connection between changes made at the macroscopic level and what happens at the molecular level. Examples of designs could include different ways to increase product formation including adding reactants or removing products. Assessment is limited to specifying the change in only one variable at a time. Assessment does not include calculating equilibrium constants and concentrations.
