Description

*Updated 4/21: This circumference lesson consists of a guided notes sheet, a practice sheet, and a learning check. I start these notes after I go over basic vocabulary and parts of a circle (freebie in my store- click here to see). The notes usually take a whole class period, sometimes even 1-1/2 by the time we get our warm ups and review out of the way and depending on pace of the class.  The practice can be done with 20-30 minutes of class time but this also depends on student learning and pace. It can also be given for homework. The learning check can be given two ways: you could give it at the end as an exit slip or at the beginning of the following class as a warm up. One last important note is that I work with my students on calculating the radius and diameter after they have been given a circumference so please keep this in mind while purchasing.

This circumference lesson was exactly what my students needed! The notes were clear and helped them develop a stronger understanding of both formulas and when to use each one. Such a helpful resource!

This was a great lesson on circles. It was easy to understand and implement with my students. It is so nice not to have to create something on my own. Thank you for the help.
