Description

The circumference and arc length of circles guided notes includes key vocabulary, definitions, formulas, and guided examples needed to teach this geometry concept. The three page circumference and arc length guided notes provide scaffolded notes for students making the connection between circumference, fractions, and finding the arc length of a circle. The formula for calculating arc length is given, but students are also encouraged to understand the parts of the formula (for this truly makes many problems simpler). Two answer keys are included (one with example answers left unmarked for classroom use and the other with all information filled in).
