Civil Rights issues are still current in our society today! Help your students learn the history of the Civil Rights Movement in the United States and about the GREATS who started it ALL! Bring the past to life with this unit on the Civil Rights Movement: Thurgood Marshall and Brown v. the Board of Education, Rosa Parks and the Montgomery Bus Boycott, Martin Luther King and the March on Washington, and what American life was like in the 1960's.

Having to teach these topics to your students can be tough! However, this file will make it easier for you to teach these topics to your students. This file includes 4 student interactive books, over 10 interactive flip-flaps, more than 12 vocabulary cards, 2 vocabulary assessments, 2 different exit tickets using social media, and 1 standards-based assessment to help your students how to answer questions of the state test in reading and writing.
