I needed a resource that was informative and also allowed for my students to learn while I was not present. I left this for my sub and was pleasantly surprised when the students turned in work and they were able to complete the work and do it comfortably.

The Civil Rights Movement Document Based Questions (DBQ) provides an engaging and thought-provoking exploration of one of the most pivotal eras in American history. The documents included are diverse, featuring speeches, photographs, legal documents, and firsthand accounts that offer multiple perspectives on the movement. The questions are well-structured, encouraging students to analyze primary sources critically while making connections to broader historical themes. This DBQ challenges students to think deeply about the struggle for equality and the significance of civil disobedience and legislation. Overall, it's a valuable resource that promotes historical thinking and meaningful classroom discussions.
