Description
Looking for a simple and easy way to review all 24 weeks of this year's CC cycle this summer? I wanted a short, simple way to review the past cycle without feeling like I was dragging my kids (or myself) kicking and screaming through a long memory review session.
Here's how you use it.
1) Select which review cycle you want - 12 weeks or 18 weeks. I do 2 weeks at a time (that gives us 12 weeks of review with about 6 weeks off). If you select the 18 week cycle, you would do 3 weeks at a time and you could cycle through it twice over the course of 1 summer.
2) During Breakfast I play a CD while they eat
- Monday: non-CC - Bible Memory CD
- Tuesday: Timeline
- Wednesday: non-CC - Latin Song School CD
- Thursday: History
- Friday: non-CC - fun CD like an audio book or Adventures in Odyssey
3) Memory Review time (whenever that works for you - for us, it's right after the older kids finish their individual school work. Could also work during snack time)
- Monday: Math
- Tuesday: Latin
- Wednesday: Science
- Thursday: English
- Friday: Geography
Boom - done! Takes 5 - 10 minutes to review, kids aren't fighting you, and you are reassured that you are reviewing the entire cycle, easily, over the summer.
