Description

This bundle includes 8 documents about classifying lines, angles, triangles, and quadrilaterals.

1. Classifying Triangles Interactive Notebook Foldable: Comes with the foldable pictured above, the photo of the inside of the foldable is included to use as an exemplar. You can find just this foldable here: Classifying Triangles Foldable

2. Classifying Quadrilaterals Interactive Notebook Entry: Comes with the entry pictured above, the photo of the inside of the foldable is included to use as an exemplar. You can find just this foldable here: Classifying Parallelograms Entry

3. Classifying Lines and Angles Quiz: Comes with 9 figures for scholars to classify, key included. Great for entrance/exit tickets, quizzes, or homework.

4. Classifying Quadrilaterals Quiz: Comes with 6 figures for scholars to classify, key included. Great for entrance/exit tickets, quizzes, or homework.

5. Classifying Triangles Quiz: Comes with 6 figures for scholars to classify, key included. Great for entrance/exit tickets, quizzes, or homework. Scholars are encouraged to identify the triangles using 2 different labels (scalene and acute, or isosceles and obtuse). You can find this quiz, along with a classifying triangles memory match game here: Quiz & Game

6. Classifying Triangles Memory Match Game comes with a set of cards (14 triangles, and 14 classifications), and 2 sets of directions that can make the game easier or harder to play. Your purchase comes with a workspace where scholars can record the classifications of the triangles as they turn them over, then they can hand in their workspace to be graded; the triangles on the workspace exactly match the triangles on the cards. Each triangle has 2 classifications, one based on angles, and one based on sides, there are 2 of each classifications (so 2 acute, isosceles classifications that can be matched to 2 separate triangles, 2 obtuse scalene that can be matched to 2 separate triangles, etc). You can find just the game here: Classifying Triangles Memory Match Game or you can find the game with a quiz here: Quiz & Game

7. Classifying Lines & Angles Interactive Notebook Foldable: comes with the document to create the foldable pictured above. Definitions and words are easy to edit if you need to make changes. We made sure to cover naming angles, describing lines as perpendicular or parallel, and complementary and supplementary angles as well. Photo of the completed foldable is included in the document to use as an exemplar. You can find just this foldable here: Lines & Angles Foldable

8. Geometry Memory Match Game: comes with a document that includes 3 versions of a memory match game. Scholars can match pictures to labels, labels to definitions, or pictures to definitions. We just cut out the pieces and played an old school memory match game. The document also includes directions for scholars. You can also edit any square you want, add new terms, or delete ones you do not need

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Understand that shapes in different categories (e.g., rhombuses, rectangles, and others) may share attributes (e.g., having four sides), and that the shared attributes can define a larger category (e.g., quadrilaterals). Recognize rhombuses, rectangles, and squares as examples of quadrilaterals, and draw examples of quadrilaterals that do not belong to any of these subcategories.
Draw points, lines, line segments, rays, angles (right, acute, obtuse), and perpendicular and parallel lines. Identify these in two-dimensional figures.
Classify two-dimensional figures based on the presence or absence of parallel or perpendicular lines, or the presence or absence of angles of a specified size. Recognize right triangles as a category, and identify right triangles.
