Description

Your students will have a blast learning about classifying quadrilaterals in this interactive and engaging fashion show! The PowerPoint lesson focuses on attributes of a general quadrilateral, trapezoid, parallelogram, rectangle, rhombus, and square, and classifies them in as many ways as possible. A printable work mat is included to help students follow along with the lesson. The work mat can also be made into a cute bulletin board display!

What's included:

✅ 2 EDITABLE PowerPoint Versions (definition of trapezoid changes)

✅ Printable Work Mat (full size, 4 to a page, and 6 to a page)

✅ Attributes of Quadrilaterals Checklist (for notebooks)

In Version 1, the inclusive definition of a trapezoid is used (at least 1 set of parallel sides). In Version 2, the exclusive definition is used (exactly 1 set).

Hi Susan! Since the PowerPoint is editable, you can change the order and edit the text as needed. This is the way I taught it but I completely understand wanting to teach it in a different order. I’m glad your students had fun with it! -Annamarie
