This sort includes 24 activity cards on the topic of classifying rational numbers.

Ways to implement this activity in your class:

· Post the activity cards around the room – Get students up and moving by printing the large version of the activity cards and tape them around the room.

· Math Station – Cut and laminate the smaller cards for use as a math station

Check out the preview to see the entire activity before you buy.

Give students a recording sheet and access to the 24 activity cards. Students must determine if they agree or disagree with the information on each card.

If a student agrees with the information on a card, they simply record the card number in the “Agree” section of the recording sheet. If a student disagrees with the information on a card, they record the card number in the “Disagree” section of the recording sheet and they must explain why they disagree with it.

Two formats of this resource are provided.

Answer Key and Student Recording Sheet are included.
