Description
Give your students hands-on practice in classifying triangles with this cut and glue geometry activity. Students cut out a variety of triangles and glue them into a graphic organizer, classifying each triangle for both sides and angles. A key is included, and a bonus box provides an opportunity for critical thinking and writing across the curriculum as students explain why an equilateral triangle must be an acute triangle.
This PDF file includes four pages: a worksheet for sorting the triangles; a page with triangles to cut and glue to the worksheet; an answer key for the worksheet; and a page giving an answer for the bonus box.

GREAT
Super helpful for teaching angles! Hands on and 100% engaging!
I love it!
Great hands on resource to practice classifying triangles!
It would have been helpful to have the side lines identified. Next time I will do this prior to making copies as there were a few that were hard to tell. Over all a great hands on activity.
Thanks! This was a great tool to practice what we are learning!
Thank you for the fantastic resource! Very nicely done.
