D A I L Y CHECK-INS in my classroom have been a GAME CHANGER
Every day is a new experience for our students and a new chance to build relationships. Just like adults children experience hardships, loss, and grief. Often these issues can show up in their academic work and behavior.
As an educator, it is super important that I’m being there for my students outside of just their academic work.
I recently started these daily check-ins using Google Forms! Once students are greeted at the door, they come in and complete an easy form (less than 5 mins!!) Students are free to choose the template of their choice! We currently have three to choose from
This is a great way to gather quick feedback to find the students who need help - academically, socially, and emotionally!
