I was so tired of rifling through a stack of papers to figure out who had and hadn't returned completed homework each day! I printed this chart with my students' names, put it in a sheet protector, and stapled it next to the turn-in box. I then used dry-erase marker to record up to 3 assignments at a time. Students were responsible for checking off each assignment as it was turned in. I could then glance at the board to see whose I was missing, and students were held accountable each day.
