The Behavior Board is a classroom management tool that uses a number system. On the first day of school, each student is assigned a number (alphabetical order) and this number is used for classroom management purposes. I recommend printing then laminating each of the items included (you can reuse them next year). I printed the numbers on colored paper. After laminating, I put a magnet on the back of each item and designated a portion of my white board to be my “Behavior Board.” Each day every students’ number is placed beside the “Ready to Learn” sign and is moved (magnetically) up (good behavior) and/or down (not so good behavior) throughout the day.
