These back to school expectations and procedures are intended to set the tone for the school year and to provide an effective and safe learning environment.

I use these handouts the first week of school with my middle school students to ensure that the classroom rules and procedures are communicated clearly to students and their parents.

The students keep these handouts in their notebooks during the school year so we can refer back to them as needed. The last page is a student/parent signature form which the students return to me to keep on file. I always offer a small prize/reward when they return the signature form in a timely manner.

These forms are saved as a Word document and are completely editable! Feel free to modify them to fit your needs and the needs of your students.
