What makes this classroom money different…

A unique idea for your classroom money! Many students inevitably fidget with things in the classroom. Why not give them math facts and examples to review at the same time? Implement an original classroom economy so that your students can learn while they earn! Included math examples are addition, subtraction, and multiplication facts, place value (standard form, word form, short word form, expanded form, expanded notation, digit value, rounding, and decimal expanded form), and scientific notation. With the different grade level math examples, you can differentiate for a diverse class or use the math examples specific to your grade.

Great value
My students were so excited about our class currency and loved earning money. They enjoyed it so much that they willing handed over money when they owed it. They told every teacher in school because they loved it so much. It was helpful in managing behaviors in a difficult classroom. I used it with 5th graders.

I was a reluctant classroom economy adopter. It is quite a bit of work to set up (printing, cutting, laminating, cutting again, setting prices for incentives, etc) but it has proven highly motivating for my first graders! Thank you!
