A Classroom Twitter Feed (for classrom wall) is a modern and effective way to implement formative assessment strategies into your classroom.
The 6 pages includes:
Page 1 - Classroom Twitter Feed Heading Display
Page 2 - Twitter rules (instructions)
Page 3 & 4 - Four statements for students to answer (selected by the teacher or student)
Page 5 & 6 - Tweet Template
Tweets can be used at the beginning of the lesson to assess students current knowledge; throughout the lesson when teaching a concept or skill, and at the end of the lesson in the form of exit slips. Implementing this in to the classroom can assist teachers in gaining a quick snapshot of students understanding in order to alter teaching to meet students needs.
Tweet templetes can be printed and laminated to be used again or multiple can be printed for single use. Apply blu-tack or thumb tack pins to each tweet so students can display their responses on Classroom Twitter Feed display.
