This resource contains everything you need to teach a complete lesson on climate change, including an engaging and modernized PowerPoint, free guided notes, and 5 different activities to pick and choose from for the price of just one! Concepts included are the greenhouse gas effect and its importance as a natural phenomenon, long-term trends in atmospheric CO2 levels, an explanation of how/why anthropogenic activities are amplifying the GHG effect, and some impacts of climate change (1 slide per impact). Impacts included are average global temperature rise, an increase in extreme weather events, an increase in the spread of pathogenic diseases, ocean warming (and coral bleaching), glacier retreating, sea level rise, ocean acidification, and impacts on plants and animals. I use this lesson in Biology as an overview on climate change.
