Description

*THIS PRODUCT IS SIMILAR TO MY CLOSE READING IN A JAR PRODUCT*
Your students will love reading independently while continuing to use the close reading strategies you have taught them. They simply take a binder ring and Close Reading Tool Kit to their seat when reading a short passage. Students choose cards before/during/after reading to help with comprehension and understanding. All cards require students to highlight a word, sentence, or part of the passage to demonstrate understanding. The Close Reading teaches students to become truly involved with what they are reading.
This product is ink friendly! You can print the color version or black&white on colored paper. It also includes editable cards for you to make your own!
