I am a Code.Org certified teacher. I have created slides and assignments for their Express Course 2021.
In this activity, students look at the assignment/challenge on the slideshow displayed on the white board. They try to place the magnetic code blocks in the correct order.
I print the blocks in color, laminate them (so they can write the numbers in the blanks with a dry erase marker), and put magnets on the back to use on the magnetic white board.
Very nice unplugged activity. Even better is making 2 sets of the magnets and making it a race between 2 groups. They are ALL engaged then.
