Coding With Scratch: The Bundle

Description

This is a bundled compilation of all of our Coding With Scratch Projects. We usually present them to students in the following order:

  • Animate A Name
  • Make Music
  • Make It Fly
  • Make A Pong Game
  • Make A Chase Game
  • Create A Story
  • Animate A Name (Final Project)

We use the Animate A Name project at both the beginning, and the end, of the unit to assess growth. Students are expected to complete this particular project without tutorials the first time around. (So we have a true measure of their baseline of knowledge.) The second time the project is completed is post tutorials and all other projects. (So we have a true measure of student growth in coding.) We always tell them to show us everything they have learned by applying the many skills learned to this final project.
