Description

This product is designed to be used with a programmable BEE BOT™️ robot; however, other coding robots can be used.

Students will determine the parts of the snowman on the task card and then code the ROBOT (BEEBOT) to each snowman part. I have provided "parts" cards for students to use to help them code to each part.

You can also have students build their own snowman and code to each part. I have included full-size snowman templates (you will need to copy, cut, and laminate)

Each square should be cut out and made into a mat. You can design your mat any way you like. These squares can make multiple mats. Instructions are provided.

Resource includes:

12 task cards

20 "parts" cards

9 snowman templates

14 moveable parts

1 My Program Sheet (Unplugged)

20 Unplugged Activities

My ELLs enjoyed using the task cards to program Bee Bot on this mat. I had students use transition words to describe the order of the items they were programming Bee Bot to find, so it was also a fun language production activity for them.
