The following pages are phonics coding practice for the cvc pattern, inflection ‘s’ ending, floss rule, open vowels and some blends. (To be used in conjunction with Saxon phonics’ rules of coding.) I have found my students need a bit more coding practice when learning the rules presented in the curriculum. These practice sheets are what I use as a supplement to daily phonics practice. I sometimes cut the page in half and have them work independently at their seats for part and then have the other part in a center for small group practice.
