Unit 2 of 8 in a semester-long Computer Science course in Python. Activities level for students of different levels of comfort and ability. This unit introduces students to game loops, datatypes, and variables in Python.

This course can be used on its own or following Cookies and Bytes' Middle School Computer Science course. I would recommend this course for beginner or intermediate coders in 8th grade and up, or for 7th-grade students who have taken Middle School Computer Science. The lesson plans are designed to be accessible to teachers with limited coding knowledge.

This was a great resource to begin to introduce my students to Python. There was a fun activity to go with the learning that the students loved. I will definitely be buying more lessons from this creator.

I started by downloading the free Unit 1 activities and then came back to buy Unit 2 as well. After just a few days, I was highly impressed with the organization, help for teachers who are not trained in coding, and engaging lessons for students so I came back and bought the whole curriculum as a bundle. This is a GREAT RESOURCE for teachers who may not have a lot of coding knowledge; everything is laid out for you and an easy practice on your own before teaching is all that's necessary to understand the content enough to teach it to students.
