Description
Assess your students’ understanding of Cofunctions or Sine and Cosine of Complementary Angles with these task cards. In this practice activity, students are asked to find the missing angle measure and to write equations to solve for x given that the Sine and Cosine of complementary angles are equal.
Choose from the printable Task Card version or the digital self-checking Google Forms version. A worksheet version is included to give you more options for differentiation.
✦ Question Breakdown:
- One multiple choice question asks for the true statement (Sin A = Cos B)
- 3 Questions ask for the missing angle measure (example: Sin θ = Cos 60, what is the measure of θ?)
- 6 Questions ask students to solve for the variable given an expression
- 2 Questions ask for the measure of one angle after students solve for a variable
✦ What’s Included in the Google Drive Folder:
- 12 Printable Task Cards
- Google Form Digital Task Cards
- Recording Sheet
- Worksheet Version
