This is a nice little break from lecture and notes to cover the Cold War. There are 4 different projects for students to choose from on the instruction page which includes: Breaking News Story, Create a Newspaper, Picture Dictionary, and Children's Book. The students having varying size groups depending on which project they choose. There is a rubric for each project. They are worth 75 points each but you can alter the rubric if you choose. Usually this project would take 2-3 days. There is also a plan of action sheet for students to fill out.
