Description

Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) is a method for addressing students' challenging by listening to the student, expressing concerns from the teacher and student, and then developing possible solutions collaboratively. This method allows students to feel empowered and heard, as well as take ownership of their own behaviors. This strategy is especially beneficial for students with ASD who need support with problem solving and perspective taking, as well as students with behavioral challenges.
