Description
In this lab, students collide various objects together to demonstrate Newton's 3rd Law of Motion (action-reaction forces). This was a huge hit with my 6th grade science classes because my students were "playing" with toy cars and tennis balls, while still learning the physics behind a collision. This includes all steps of the scientific method, along with a full rubric to assess students' learning.
