This packet of EDIT IT – COLOR BY SIGHT WORDS is designed so that YOU decide which words you want your students to practice. Add these thematic activities to your sight word stations to build engagement and fun. You could even use them for homework. It's easy to differentiate when editing is so easy. Setting up these Color By Sight Word pages is easy, but you do need to follow these simple directions to make them work.

Important Teacher Instructions:

• It is very important that you have the latest version of Adobe Reader loaded on your computer. You must use Adobe Reader to open this file and make it editable.
• If you don't have Adobe Reader, it is a free download you can get just by Googling "Latest Version of Adobe Reader."
• Once you have Adobe Reader downloaded and installed, restart your computer.
• Now find the Color By Sight Word file and right-click on the file name. You will be prompted to 'open using . . .' or something like that. When you see that, select Adobe Reader.
• Now simply type the words you chose to have your students practice next to the colors in the highlighted area.

These words will then be AUTOMATICALLY populated into the coloring page. The area provided on pages accommodates words that are a maximum of 6-8 letters long. You can set up each page with different sight words to differentiate these activities for all your learners or extend learning. There are enough pages to last you an entire month.

Please note, the words in these sets are editable, but the font is not. These sets utilize a Century Gothic font. Please make sure this works for you before purchasing the set.
