Description
Based off the Montessori Initial Sound Lessons, these cards provide additional practice when introducing the letter sounds. The letters are D'nealian Cursive.Images consist of real objects when necessary. Many of the images will be familiar to students, with additional images intended to increase vocabulary. A word list is provided so you will know the intended names of objects for matching purposes.
Letter groups include:
Red: a, b, m, s, t
Yellow: i, f, g, h, r
Blue: o, c, d, j, l, z
Green: e, n, q, w, x
Purple: u, k, p, v, y
This set is color-coded based upon the letter groupings I find helpful for letter introductions. If you would like a set that is not grouped, please see my product titled "Initial Sound Cards" to introduce in your preferred order. If you would like a set customized to your preferred grouping, you may purchase "Customized Initial Sound Cards" and I will be in touch.
