Color Coded Story Writing
Share

Description

Students will write a multi paragraph short story using a different color word for each paragraph.

Students will use the actual color word only once in the paragraph. After that, students must use as many synonyms for the word as possible. For example, gray (mud, asphalt, dull, dusty, concrete, steely, etc.).

Example included.

Can be assigned virtually using your district's learning management system or printed to use as handouts, so it works seamlessly for both in person and digital/virtual/distance learners or whatever your classroom environment is.
