Color Coded Writing Reflection is an activity/worksheet designed to help students to reflect on their essay's structure in a thoughtful and systematic way. Color coding allows students to visualize their essay's structure. It is general and wholistic in approach making it an activity that teachers can easily adapt to their students' needs. Suggestions for using it with students are included, and it is customizable to a variety of writing situations.
