Visual aides are an excellent resource in any classroom, and these Color Intensity Dynamics Posters are no exception! These posters provide a great way to reach your visual learners, as they use increasing levels of color saturation to show increasing levels of dynamics!
Included are .jpg and .pdf versions of every page. There are 8 printing options, all set up for 8.5 x 11 paper.
The following sets are Color Gradient, meaning that the softest (pianissimo) has a very light color background, and the loudest (fortissimo) has a very dark color background: Red, Orange, Green, Blue, Purple
I have also included two separate Rainbow sets, going in opposite Rainbow order. Rainbow 1 set has fortissimo in red and works through the rainbow to pianissimo in purple. The Rainbow 2 set starts with pianissimo in red and works its way to fortissimo in purple.
Finally, for those who do not have access to color printing, there is a Black and White option. These can be printed on white paper as is, or you could create your own color pattern using different colors of paper.
Within each set, you will find a poster for the following terms:
Crescendo, Decrescendo, Pianissimo, Piano, Mezzo Piano, Mezzo Forte, Forte, and Fortissimo.
UPDATED 2/2/2020 to include 5 different header options for each color set. Please make sure to look through these before printing so you can choose which one you want. You will not need to print all of them!
UPDATED 8/17/2020 to include the option to use the word "Quiet" instead of "Soft." There are separate sets for the different terminology, so please be careful on which files you choose to print!
