Description
This is a worksheet for students just beginning to experiment with color. I made it for 1st graders specifically but it can be used as a fun activity for any grade.
Students have the freedom to decide which colors they are mixing together. It is not intended to be a color wheel but it can be used that way as well.
Students use watercolors to paint each circle and discover what happens when the colors overlap.
The text on the worksheet is as follows:
Fill each circle with a different color.
See what new colors appear where the circles overlap!
Remember to rinse your brush between colors!
Draw an arrow to your favorite new color.
Now name it!
