Description
Use this worksheet to let kids experiment with mixing primary colors together. They will be amazed at the new colors they can make.
Print on white cardstock for best results.
We use this as a warm-up whenever we paint. I put out only red, yellow, and blue paint (and sometimes black and white), so if anyone wants to use other colors, they have to mix the new colors themselves.

I have loved using this in my class! They love finding out what color they create.
In a pinch, this was a good resources to accompany an activity I set up in my Montessori classroom. On a tray, I provided 3 jars of food-coloring-ed water in red, blue, and yellow, each with a dropper. I also provided 3 clean jars. I had students follow along with this worksheet to mix the colors and record their results. However, because my students are only 2-4 years old, they don't know what a plus sign and equals sign are, and they don't even know to read from left to right. So it wasn't immediately apparently to them how to follow the worksheet. If I remade this product for littles, I would have an image of blue and red paint going into an empty jar so they could more easily tell which colors should be being mixed for each of the three "experiments."
This is awesome, it came in handy today!
Thank you!
