Activity: Color by Command

Objective: To practice listening comprehension, shape recognition (Circle, Square, Triangle, Rectangle), and color identification.

Instructions for the Teacher/Parent: Read the following directions aloud one at a time. Wait for the children to find the correct shape and finish coloring before moving to the next step.

1. "Find the Circle. Color the circle Blue."
2. "Find the Square. Color the square Red."
3. "Find the Triangle. Color the triangle Yellow."
4. "Find the Rectangle. Color the rectangle Green."
