Initially I purchased this resource to use with my older students (3rd/4th/5th) with foundational math gaps. For the students who need multisensory activities and lots of opportunities to build confidence, these color by code sheets have been a favorite. However, these sheets also unexpectedly became a reward for a first grader of mine with severe behavioral struggles and advanced math abilities. The student regularly requested 'real math' and 'math worksheets' as a reward and for built in breaks. Well, when the student saw one of these completed worksheets sitting on a table, let's just say that said student attempted to launch themselves over a chair to grab their own copy, in a moment of absolute excitement. Big hit.

Wow! I love hearing that you could use this resource with such a range of grade levels! And when a student wants to do math as a reward- amazing! You’re definitely doing something right! Yay for you and your students! Thanks so much for sharing this feedback - it means a lot!
