Description

This is a Color-by-Number (Addition) activity designed to blend fine motor skill development with arithmetic practice.

  • The Theme: An underwater "Ocean Adventure" featuring friendly sea creatures like a dolphin, an octopus, a submarine, and various fish.
  • The Math: Students are presented with simple addition problems (e.g., 2+3, 4+1, 6+2) scattered throughout the illustration.

The Challenge:

  1. Students must first solve the math problems in each section.
  2. They then refer to the Color Key at the top, which matches specific sums to colors (Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, and Orange).
  3. By coloring the sections according to the correct answers, they reveal a vibrant, completed coral reef scene.
  • Skill Reinforcement: Beyond basic addition, it helps with number recognition, color word literacy, and staying within the lines—a classroom classic for keeping young learners engaged.
