The orange hand points to the 00 and matches the two orange boxes on the digital display, while the green hand points to the hour and matches the green box/ boxes on the digital display.

Stage two is all about teaching your students how to tell the time on the digital clock using five minute increments and colour coding.
In this download the hour hand does not move as this is only about teaching five minute increments and telling the time on the digital clock.

After your students have mastered telling the time in five minute increments (Stage 2) Stage Three will take them onto telling the time with the hour hand actually moving.
To make it easier for your students the hour hand is colour coded blue. When the hand is blue it refers to the number (on the clock) before the blue hand. This is So Easy for your students to understand and learn.
When the hand turns back to green it refers to the hourly time that they have already learnt in both Stage 1 and 2 of this course.
Stage 3 is also designed to teach your students the accepted language for telling the time e.g. five past, ten past, quarter to, ten to etc.

Some ideas for this download:
- You can also use this with the interactive whiteboard or even iPad's and tablets.
- The flashcards can be laminated with one side showing the answer and the other side not having the answer.
- The flashcards can be used with games like memory, or name that time.
- The flashcards can be turned into worksheets by printing six, nine or fifteen to a page. Choose your pages and print your worksheets.
- Laminate and use the large clocks with either write and wipe sleeves or reusable writing boards.
- Use the coloured number flashcards, with the blue, green and orange coloured hands to reinforce what you are teaching your students on the digital clock.
