Description

Do your students love colour-by-code resources? Who wouldn't want to mix creativity with an important number skill practice!

To encourage students to consolidate their representations of numbers, this Colour by Code can be a whole class activity, a numeracy centre activity individual or paired. This is for Kindergarten , and year 1 students to consolidate their number representation and addition to 20 concepts.

Roll the dice addition slides.

Students take one dice. Roll it. Add a certain number and then colour the space that has the answer

Find the answer.

Students find the answer by adding the numbers together (2 or 3 numbers) and then colour the space that has the answer.

Match Me

Students match the numbers represented by either tally marks, dominoes, dice, addition sums, words and finger counting.

Editable Slides.

There are 5 slides that are editable so that you can add your own maths work either in the PowerPoint or the editable pages in the PDF. They are slides 21, to 25.

Some ways to Use.

You can print out the PDF, make a number booklet, laminate or put in a plastic sleeve and make numeracy centre cards where students write their work over the cards.

There are also a folder of images that can be used in Seesaw, Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams etc

✔Folder of images of each slide for use in Seesaw etc. You will need to set up the extra steps fro Seesaw, but they can also be printed as cards.
