Description
This concise, to the point and no-prep combining like terms lesson is a great way to teach & introduce simplifying expressions to your students. They go over the terms expressions, like terms, coefficients, and include examples where students identify like terms, combine like terms, and apply their skills by finding the perimeter of a parallelogram by combining like terms. Students and teachers love how easy these notes are to follow and understand.
These notes get straight to the point of the skill being taught, which I have found is imperative for the attention span of middle schoolers! They are also a great tool for students to refer back to.
