¡Hola Profesores!

Tired of the same old menu project to help students to learn the food vocabulary? Try this PBL, which is appropriate for in-person or remote learning..

I think you might like this Food Pyramid Project-Based Learning activity that not only helps with vocabulary memorization through images, but also includes some writing and possibly presentational speaking. The requirements are scaffolded, building from basic food vocabulary to a descriptive paragraph and finally a compare/contrast paragraph so that the final project goes up Bloom's.

Prep: none for older students; younger students may need an explanation of what a food pyramid is; posters, markers?

Description: Students work in groups of 2-3 to create a total of 3 different food pyramids. Their projects could be presentational speaking with slides or posters.

Please leave suggestions in the comments or visit my store - ShopProfeBB - where you will also find more fun, standards-based activities.

Gracias y ¡Diviértanse!
