  • Notebook pages in 2 formats--flip-book and cut and paste.
  • 3 practice pages for each rule.
  • 32 self-checking task cards--very fun for students as they will use macaroni noodles as commas!
  • 2 assessment pages

Everything you need to teach these 9 comma rules:

1. dates

2. places

3. dialogue

4. compound sentences

5. items in a series

6. introductory elements

8. tag questions

9. direct address

I have used this bundle in my own 5th grade classroom and the students have great success learning these comma rules---and have fun along the way! Not all of these comma rules are 5th grade standards, but I know that students need to review previous learning. I also want them to have this knowledge so they will improve their writing abilities.

If you want a stress-free way to teach these comma rules, grab this bundle today and save!
