Description

One fun and engaging activity for students. Writing a script for a commercial for their own product. This activity could be done in a marketing or business class, or even in a language arts class to practice persuasive writing and communication skills.

To begin the activity, students could be tasked with coming up with a product idea. This could be something as simple as a new type of snack food, a piece of technology, or a clothing item. Once the students have their product idea, they should be encouraged to think about what makes their product unique and why someone would want to buy it.

Once the students have a clear idea of their product and its selling points, they can start to write the script for their commercial. This should be a persuasive and engaging piece of writing that convinces the audience to buy their product.

At the end of the activity, the students can present their commercials to the class and receive feedback. This can be a great opportunity for peer review and constructive criticism and can help the students to improve their writing and communication skills.
