This is an interactive flipchart for ActivInspire that poses questions relating to the 3rd grade Common Core standard CCSS.Math.Content.3.NF.A.1 Understand a fraction 1/b as the quantity formed by 1 part when a whole is partitioned into b equal parts; understand a fraction a/b as the quantity formed by a parts of size 1/b.

With this resource students can use expanded pattern blocks which can rotate, be flipped, duplicated, and dragged. This resource is a great tool for your Promethean board, for centers at computers that have ActivInspire installed, or for students who need technology to increase access to non-physical manipulatives.

You can use this flipchart as your whole-group instruction while students work hands-on at their seats.
