Description
This article is written for middle school students to learn about solving percent problems with proportional reasoning. It is brief (one page), but will give your students experience with simple interest, percent increase, percent decrease, and error. This can be used in station rotations or with a whole class. I have included directions and activity sheets for use as a partner reading activity and small group summarizing.
