My curriculum started way to high for my students and began having them draw and label number line for fractions before even teaching them how a number line works. These task cards were a perfect bridge because they started with simply identifying the fractional amount and then how to place the fractional amount. After this, I was then able to return to the curriculum. This was super helpful
